My lovely blog has now been up and running for a grand total of six months (to the day in fact – I started writing that without even realising the date!) I have been on quite the journey. When I started, I remember thinking, ‘even if I cover contemporary sustainable fashion and vintage fashion, will I really have enough to write about?!’ How my eyes have been opened. I now spend my mornings leafing through pages of ideas for blog posts, as there is just so much to write about.
There is one label in particular that holds a dear place in my heart, as I have known about them right from the start. If there was ever a label that has led the way into sustainable fashion, Goodone is it. With their made-to-fit sizes and contemporary upcycled designs, they are a covetable label in their own right without needing to rely on the ‘sustainable fashion’ seal of approval.
Goodone have just launched their latest Basics Collection. Made from reclaimed fabrics, the soft colours have summer stamped all over them. The collection is totally accessible as the prices are very reasonable. I can’t wait to get my hands on a pair of the Jersey trousers (top image below) in pink jungle print! You can shop the collection on their website, www.goodone.co.uk. Having shown at London Fashion Week, they are definitely an ethical label to wear loud and proud!
